Jeleniów II gas compression station

The investment project

The objective of the project is to build Jeleniów II Gas Compression Station based on two compressing units (gas turbine driven centrifugal compressor) with the capacity of 160,000 m³/h each, together with auxiliaries.

The project is scheduled for completion in November 2015.

Legal grounds

The project is implemented in accordance with the Act of 24 April 2009 on investments in the scope of LNG Regasification Terminal in Świnoujście (Journal of Laws of 2009, No. 84 item 700, as amended).

The construction of the gas compression station will allow to increase the off-take of gas in Lasów and achieve higher pressure parameters of transmitted gas up to 8.4 MPa.

The project will allow to enhance the diversification of gas sources and improve the security of gas supplies by increasing transmission capacity from the German side.

The construction of the Jeleniów II Gas Compression Station is closely connected with the development of the transmission gas pipelines in Lower Silesia, which will increase the transmission capacity of the network and enable new customers to be connected.
