I hope that the cooperation with GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. will be a long-term one and that it will allow for the fulfilment of our business objectives. We are planning to build, on the basis of our experience and extensive sales network, a stable position on the Polish natural gas market, but we need support of a trusted partner – said Krzysztof Czajka, Sales Director at FITEN SA.

The group of companies cooperating with GAZ-SYSTEM S.A was joined also by Alpiq Energy SE – a European company being a part of a the Alpiq international concern, functioning on the markets of the Central and Eastern Europe. Thanks to the conclusion of contract with GAZ-SYSTEM S.A, natural gas is included in our portfolio of offered products. As one of the most active independent trading companies in the Polish market, we believe in further liberalisation of the gas market, which will allow us to successfully develop cooperation with trading companies and large industrial customers in the area of trade, gas supply and provision of energy services. With the use of long-term experience of Alpiq in the domain of portfolio optimisation and management, we will strive to flexibly adjust the offer to the expectations of Customers, maintaining the highest quality of services
– highlighted Krzysztof Bonk, Director of the Branch of Alpiq Energy SE in Poland.

In Poland, the EWE concern has been operating since 1998 through its subsidiary EWE Polska Sp. z o.o. and, since 1999, through EWE energia Sp. z o.o.

After EWE Trading GmbH had received a licence for trading in gas in Poland, we concluded a transmission contract with GAZ-SYSTEM S.A in order to start operations. In the future, EWE Trading GmbH will aim to coordinate actions in the said fields also in the Polish market – emphasised Malte Neuendorff and Andreas Robert Hartung, representatives of the  Board of Directors of EWE Trading GmbH.
