Environmental consultations for Zdzieszowice-Wrocław gas pipeline

The Regional Director for Environmental Protection in Opole, acting in consultation with the Regional Director for Environmental Protection in Wrocław, is conducting a procedure on issuing a decision on environmental conditions for the “Construction of gas pipeline Zdzieszowice – Wrocław DN1000 MOP 8.4 MPa ca. 130 km with adjacent facilities and the necessary service infrastructure, including ca. 46 km long Section I: Brzeg – Zębice – Kiełczów, ca. 84 km long Section II: Zdzieszowice – Brzeg”.

The execution and impact of the Zdzieszowice – Wrocław gas pipeline construction stage covers the following Gminas in the Opole Voivodeship: Krapkowice, Zdzieszowice, Tarnów Opolski, Opole, Dąbrowa, Prószków, Leśnica, Olszanka, Skarbimierz and Lewin Brzeski and the following Gminas in the Lower Silesia Voivodeship: Oława, Czernica and Długołęka.

The project has been supported by an environmental impact report.
The parties involved may read the documentation on the case, which can be accessed in the Regional Directorate for Environmental Protection (RDOŚ) in Opole at 66 Obrońców Stalingradu Street, room 4.12 from Monday to Friday between 7:30 am and 3:30 pm.

The Company is implementing one of the most important infrastructural projects in Poland – the Baltic Pipe project, which consists in the construction of a bidirectional offshore gas pipeline connecting Poland and Denmark and the expansion of the local transmission network.

GAZ-SYSTEM also owns Polskie LNG, the operator of the President Lech Kaczyński's LNG Terminal in Świnoujście.
