The Branch in Tarnów is responsible for the implementation of activities concerning the continuity and technical safety of gas transmission within the designated area of operations, and carries out business activity within the designated territory in accordance with the objects of GAZ-SYSTEM S.A., including:
• managing operational activities at transmission system facilities
• maintaining technical and operational documentation of the transmission system
• ensuring technical and organisational efficiency in emergency situations
• overseeing maintenance and investment activities
• gas flows steering within the operating area of the Branch
• physical balancing of gas volumes
• service of customers based within the operating area of the Branch
• environmental management

The area of operation covers Lubelskie, Małopolskie, Podkarpackie, and Świętokrzyskie Voivodships.
