Polkowice–Żary pipeline
Investment description
The project consists of the development of the gas pipeline for nitrogenised gas Lw on the route Polkowice – Żary. The project is located within the territory of the provinces of Lower Silesia (communes of Grębocice, Polkowice, Gaworzyce, Radwanice, Jerzmanowa) and Lubuskie (communes of: Niegosławice, Szprotawa, Małomice, Żary).
The investment consists of the development of a gas pipeline of 66 km comprised of two sections:
Section I on the route Polkowice – Gaworzyce – Żary measuring app. 58.8 km,
Section II on the route Olszyniec – Lubomyśl measuring app. 7.2 km.

Summary of work progress
• A feasibility study has been prepared;
• The route of the planned pipeline has been prepared. The technological schemes for the blocking and relief systems and for the pig launcher and pig receiver have been agreed.

Estimated investment value: 81 M PLN
Forecasted subsidy value from the Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment: 28.35 M PLN
