Gustorzyn–Odolanów pipeline

Investment description

The project consists of the development of the gas pipeline Gustorzyn–Odolanów. The project is located within the territory of the provinces of Greater Poland and Kujawsko-pomorskie. The starting point of the gas pipeline is located in the Odolanów network connection point whereas the end point is found in the Gustorzyn network connection point. The project performs the objectives of the Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment 2007-2013 (OPI&E) approved by the European Commission on 7 December 2007.

The scope of the project includes the construction of a gas pipeline with a diameter of 700 mm and length of 168 km. The construction of the aforementioned pipeline is planned in two stages:
Stage I – Gustorzyn – Turek section of 83 km,
Stage II – Odolanów – Turek section of 85 km.

The aforementioned pipeline represents a modernization of the existing Odolanów – Gustorzyn – Mogilno transmission system. According to adopted variant, the gas pipeline has been designed along the existing system that directly connects the network connection points of Odolanów and Gustorzyn. The pipeline will enable gas transmission in two directions, as needed, with simultaneous reception from CUGS Mogilno and UGS Wierzchowice.
