GAZ-SYSTEM supports development of vocational education

“I hope that our cooperation with the Ignacy Mościcki Complex of Technical Schools will increase the possibility of employing qualified technical staff in the gas industry” – said Artur Zawartko, Vice-President of GAZ-SYSTEM Management Board during the ceremony at which the letter of intent and sponsorship agreement were signed with the School Complex. The meeting took place on 27 April 2018.

The company will help shape and cover the curriculum, as well as provide new equipment for the vocational rooms. It will facilitate students’ access to state-of-the-art transmission infrastructure, both as part of vocational trips, and practical specialist classes, including laboratory ones. The company will offer paid internship to the best graduates “Our company develops intensively, we extend the Polish gas transmission system, and implement ambitious infrastructure projects. All of it means that we need qualified employees and competent specialists who will be able to meet our requirements” – said Artur Zawartko.

“We want to support vocational training and create development opportunities for young, well-educated people who see their professional future in the gas industry” – added Aneta Korda–Burza, the director the GAZ-SYSTEM Laboratory Division.

“Being an engineer, I cannot imagine technical education without close cooperation between the school and industry. The access to the state-of-the-art technical thought, contact with top-class professionals and other forms of enriching the process of students’ and teachers’ education are invaluable, if we want to prepare good candidates for work at the best companies. Such activities benefit both the company, and the student, and, consequently, our economy” – added headmaster Krzysztof Kołaciński.

“The Technical School Complex is a reputable institution which meets high educational standards, and boasts a long list of achievements as well as great tradition. I’m happy that thanks to the agreement entered into with GAZ-SYSTEM the school’s offer will gain additional assets. The students will also benefit. Thank you for your support” – said Tarnów’s president Roman Ciepiela.
