Zdzieszowice - Kędzierzyn Koźle gas pipeline
Description of the investment
The purpose of the project is to construct a high pressure gas pipeline at the Zdzieszowice – Kędzierzyn-Koźle section of the length of approximately 19 km and the diameter of 1000 mm in the territory of the Opolskie Voivodeship.
The pipeline will mostly run along the existing high pressure gas pipeline in the territory of the municipality of Leśnica and Kędzierzyn-Koźle. The investment is planned in the years 2017 – 2018.
A design will be prepared by Górnicze Biuro Projektów ”PANGAZ” Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Kraków, which was selected under the public bid.
Advantages of the investment
As a result of the planned investment, the security and reliability of natural gas transmission in the territory of Opole, Upper and Bottom Silesia, and transmission capacity and natural gas source diversification in Poland will increase.
In addition, the Zdzieszowice – Kędzierzyn-Koźle gas pipeline will form an element of the North-South Gas Corridor that connects the LNG terminal in Świnoujście with the planned LNG terminal in Croatia.
An important advantage for local communities will be a yearly real estate tax of 2% of the value of the gas pipeline section located within a given municipality.
Cost of the investment:
Estimated value of the investment: approximately PLN 126 million.
