Gas Transmission Operator GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. announces the launch of the Market Screening procedure whereby the interested parties may submit non-binding declarations of interest in the transportation of natural gas through the transmission system.

The results of the Market Screening will provide a basis for launching an Open Season Procedure in 2009, the findings from which will serve to prepare and take economically viable investment decisions concerning the development of the transmission system with a view to satisfying the long-term needs of system users in respect of natural gas transportation.
