Integrated Management System
On 20 October 2009 the Technical Committee of the Polish Centre for Testing and Certification (PCTC) granted an Integrated Management System Certificate No. 1869/2/2009 for customer service and an Integrated Management System Certificate No. BS-1 O/2/2009 for the operation of a natural gas transmission system to the Gas Transmission Operator GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. Both Certificates are valid for three years.
The above Certificates confirm that the procedures and operating instructions adopted by GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. comply with the requirements of the following standards :
- PN-EN ISO 9001:2009 "Quality Management Systems. Requirements";
- PN-EN ISO 14001:2005 "Environmental Management Systems. Requirements and Application Guidelines";
- PN-N-18001:2004 "Work Safety and Hygiene Management Systems. Requirements".
The Quality Management System, which is an integral part of the Integrated Management System, guarantees that the customer is attended to at the highest possible level. Customer service includes, in particular, the release of information to the public, the issue of conditions for the connection to the transmission network, the conclusion of agreements on connection and agreements on gas fuel transmission as well as the settlement of rendered services.
Both the Work Safety and Hygiene Management System and the Environmental Management System confirm that the strategic goals of the Company, i.e. the transport of natural gas, regardless of its source of origin, through the transmission network country-wide as well as the sustaining of the balance of transmission network operations are performed in a way ensuring the secure functioning of the transmission system in an environmentally friendly manner.
There is a binding Code for Subcontractors under the Integrated Management System.
The purpose of the Code is to enable external Contractors to act in accordance with the Integrated Management System while carrying out tasks for the benefit of the Gas Transmission Operator GAZ-SYSEM S.A., particularly in the field of exerting an impact on the natural environment as well as work safety and hygiene.
