The investment plans of GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. are closely related with the market needs. Strategic investment tasks will be performed in northwest Poland, among other things on the following gas pipelines – Szczecin-Gdansk, Wloclawek-Gdynia, Szczecin-Lwowek and the Goleniow compressor station. GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. intends to develop the natural gas transmission network to be able to connect undertakings that are currently submitting their requests. The network development in northwest Poland is also connected with the plans of PGNiG SA concerning obtaining new sources of gas supplies on the Polish coast (construciton of an LNG terminal and the BalticPipe pipeline). GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. is planning to construct about 1 000 kilometres of new natural gas transmission piplines in Poland up to 2014.
