Code of Ethics of GAZ-SYSTEM S.A.
GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. has implemented a Code of Ethics setting out the standards of conduct in the main areas in which the company and its employee operate.
The Code of Ethics of GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. defines the rules of ethical conduct and emphasises the key role of the values which govern the way the company functions and takes its decisions. Five fundamental values of GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. have been identified:
- responsibility towards the environment, in which the company functions, and towards its employees and the natural environment,
- commitment – creative activities and efforts of the employees aimed at improving the effectiveness of the company,
- professionalism – proper performance of company obligations towards its stakeholders and high qualifications of the employees,
- team work – co-operation allowing the company to provide services of the highest quality,
- respect towards the stakeholders reflected in a constructive dialogue and activities undertaken for the benefit of the environment.
The addressees of the ethical activities of the company are its employees, customers, business partners (suppliers, subcontractors), local communities as well as State institutions.
The Code of Ethics was drawn up with active participation of Company employees. It was developed by a Code of Ethics Team consisting of eight members - representatives of all the departments and the head office of the Company. The Team prepared the first version of the Code, which was then placed in the intranet, accompanied by a survey. Employees used the survey form to express their opinions regarding the values espoused by the Code, thus enabling the Team to analyse the comments and suggestions put forward by the workforce. This allowed the creation of the final version of the Code. The Code of Ethics of Gas Transmission Operator GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. has been adopted by a Resolution of the Management Board.
