Edig@s

According to provisions of TNC, the electronic exchange of information related to execution of transmission services is based on the Electronic Document Interchange (EDI) standard, in its version developed for the gas industry, codenamed EDIG@S, which is described in detail in Edig@s Message Implementation Guidelines (MIG) documents, available at www.edigas.org.

Edig@s 5.1.

The following edig@s messages are used:

NOMINT (type 01G)  –  Nomination (nominations, DSO’s transport forecasts),

NOMRES (type 08G)  – Confirmation notice (information of confirmed nomination/ DSO’s transport forecast),

NOMRES (type AND)  – Interruption notice (information of a possible interruption to the quantities nominated – within interruptible capacities),

DELORD (type ANC)  - Forwarded single sided nomination (a message to provide single sided nomination information to an adjacent System Operator),

DELORD (type 26G)  – Callup notice (a message to indicate the quantities that the System Operator is able to transmit or process – initiates the matching procedure),

DELRES (type 27G)  – Callup response (a message used by a matching System Operator to inform the adjacent System Operator of the matching results),

ACKNOW (type 294) - Application error and acknowledgement (a message used by an application to acknowledge reception of a message and/or to report any errors.).

Edig@s v. 5.1 also contains functionalities that enable the fulfillment of new obligations set out in the network codes (BAL NC, CAM NC).

Edig@s Message Implementation Guidelines (including XSD schemas) are published on www.edigas.org.

NOMINT, NOMRES, DELORD, DELRES are defined in „Nomination and Matching Process” document, ACKNOW –  in „General Service Processes” document.

The detailed description of the interpretation of the content of the messages:

NOMINT

NOMRES

DELORD

DELRES

ACKNOW

Please pay attention, ,that  harmonized identification and versioning of the message shall be applied– edig@s message is determined uniquely by the attributes Identification and Version; every change of nomination (renomination) should have the same Identification and incremented Version number (operator shall only accept a document with a version number which is greater than the previous version number of the same document).

EIC codes are used to identify the issuer and receiver of edig@s message and to identify the connection point (these changes are caused by the need to fulfill obligations under REMIT).

In order to meet the expectations of market participants, we accept the rule (when using Edig@as v. 5.1) that the nomination for each entry or exit point shall be in a separate NOMINT message.

In case of bidirectional connection points, which are always identified with one EIC code, the NOMINT message shall contain both directions: entry and exit (if the network user is active in both directions). This refers to the connection points between the adjacent transmission systems (e.g. Cieszyn, Cieszyn reverse, GCP GAZ-SYSTEM/ONTRAS, GCP GAZ-SYSTEM/ONTRAS reverse, Mallnow, Mallnow reverse), PWP, PWP reverse, virtual trading points (np.: OTC, PZPT, RUB), connection points with the storage installations.

GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. is the EIC Local Issuing Office. Gas market participants registered in Poland (VAT number) who do not have EIC code, may request for the code allocation. EIC codes for entry and exit points in the Polish gas transmission system are published on GAZ-SYSTEM website at the List of the system points and under the section on the EIC Local Issuing Office.

Edig@s 4

The following edig@s messages in Edig@s 4.0 XML format are used:

NOMINT, NOMRES (version 4) – in the nomination process and transportation forecasts,

DELORD, DELRES (version 4) – part of the nomination matching process in cooperating systems,

ACKNOW (version 5.0 release B) – notification for the message sender on the message acceptance by its recipient.

Below you may find MIG documents from the www.edigas.org website for respective messages along with description of these messages to facilitate their implementation.
